Acupuncture

  • Your first appointment allows plenty of time for a thorough understanding of your health concerns and the foundations of a tailored treatment plan.

    What’s Included

    Comprehensive Consultation
We begin with an in-depth conversation about your main concerns, medical history, lifestyle factors, and overall wellbeing. This also includes Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic methods such as pulse and tongue observation.

    Personalised Treatment Plan
I explain the TCM patterns identified and how they relate to what you are experiencing. Together, we discuss your goals and the most appropriate approach for you moving forward.

    Acupuncture Treatment
Your first acupuncture session is gentle and individualised. Points are selected to support the body’s natural healing processes, calm the nervous system, and encourage balance.
If suitable, complementary techniques such as cupping, gua sha, heat therapy, or acupressure may also be included.

Once the needles are in, I usually leave the room. This allows you time to relax. The needles are often left in for approximately 25 – 45 minutes.  Many people feel deeply relaxed, fall asleep, or experience a meditative state.

    Aftercare & Questions
You are welcome to ask questions at any time. I provide simple aftercare guidance to help you feel supported after your session.

  • This is the consult that follows after the initial. Follow-up sessions allow us to build on your treatment plan and adapt your care as your body responds.

    What’s Included

    Progress Review
We start with a brief check-in to review how you’ve been feeling since your last appointment, including any changes or new concerns. Pulse and tongue diagnosis may be reassessed to guide the session.

    Tailored Acupuncture Treatment
Your treatment is adjusted based on your current presentation. Acupuncture remains the foundation, supporting regulation, relieving tension, and promoting internal harmony.

    Complementary Techniques (as needed)
Cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, heat therapy, or acupressure may be added when appropriate to support your treatment goals.

    Supportive Guidance
I offer simple, practical suggestions — such as gentle movement, breathing exercises, or lifestyle tips — that may help you maintain the benefits between sessions.

  • A 60-minute Tui Na session is a deeply therapeutic, hands-on treatment designed to release tension, restore balance, and support the smooth flow of Qi throughout the whole body — all while you remain fully clothed.

Using a combination of traditional Chinese massage techniques — including rolling, pressing, stretching, kneading, and gentle rhythmic movements — this treatment works along the meridians and acupressure points to ease muscular tightness, calm the nervous system, and support overall wellbeing.

Tui Na is especially beneficial for women experiencing stress, stiffness, chronic pain, emotional tension, or fatigue. It helps loosen tight shoulders and neck, relax the back, improve mobility, reduce headaches, and bring a grounded, restored feeling through the whole body.

Each session is tailored to what your body needs on the day, whether that’s deeper pressure, gentler flow, or focused work on problem areas.

This massage leaves you feeling lighter, more open, and deeply nourished — a beautiful reset for both body and mind. Perfect as a stand-alone treatment or combined with acupuncture for even greater therapeutic benefit.
