Reiki Energy Healing
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and wellbeing. Originating in Japan, the word Reiki translates to “universal life energy” — the subtle energy believed to flow through all living things.
During a Reiki session, I channel this energy through my hands to support the flow of energy within the body. When energy becomes blocked or depleted, it can contribute to physical discomfort, emotional stress, or fatigue. Reiki works to help clear and rebalance these energy pathways, encouraging deep relaxation and allowing the body to return to a more harmonious state.
Reiki is non-invasive, deeply calming, and can be used alongside other therapies to support overall health and wellbeing.
What Happens in a Reiki Session
A Reiki session is designed to be a peaceful and restorative experience.
You will lie comfortably on the treatment table, fully clothed, while gentle music may play in the background. I will lightly place my hands either on or just above different areas of the body, allowing Reiki energy to flow where it is needed most. Crystals, sound and essential oils may also be included.
Each session is unique, but many people experience:
A deep sense of relaxation
Gentle warmth or tingling sensations
Emotional release
A quiet, meditative state
Some people feel very little physically during the session but still notice significant shifts in how they feel afterwards.
Benefits of Reiki
Reiki works on physical, emotional, and energetic levels to support overall wellbeing. Many people seek Reiki to help with:
Stress and anxiety
Burnout and fatigue
Emotional overwhelm
Sleep difficulties
Nervous system regulation
Feeling “out of balance”
Supporting healing during times of illness or recovery
Personal growth and emotional processing
One of the most valued effects of Reiki is its ability to gently shift the body into a deep parasympathetic (rest-and-repair) state, which supports natural healing processes.
Who Reiki Healing Can Help
Reiki can support people at many different stages of life and health. It may be particularly helpful if you are:
Feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed
Navigating life transitions or emotional challenges
Experiencing burnout or chronic fatigue
Wanting to reconnect with yourself and slow down
Looking for a gentle complementary therapy alongside other treatments
Reiki is suitable for people of all ages and can be a supportive option when the body and mind need rest, recalibration, and care.
Reiki with Adele
I am an attuned Reiki Master & Teacher, Karuna Reiki Master, Shiloh Rae Master, and Seichim Practitioner, and I approach energy healing with both intuition and grounded clinical experience.
My work is guided by the belief that healing occurs most easily when the nervous system feels safe, supported, and relaxed. Each session is held in a calm and nurturing space where your body can fully unwind.
As a qualified and registered acupuncturist, I am also able to combine Reiki with acupuncture to support deeper therapeutic outcomes. This integrated approach can help address both the energetic and physical aspects of health. Alternatively, if you prefer, sessions can also be focused purely on Reiki energy healing.
Every treatment is tailored to your needs on the day.
