Women’s health acupuncture in Blackwood, for every season
From the first hope of a baby to the changes of perimenopause, women’s health moves through seasons. Each one brings its own questions, pressures and things you’re quietly carrying.
Whatever season you’re in, you’ll get unhurried care that looks at the whole picture, alongside your GP, specialist, midwife or obstetrician.
Simply book a consultation and we’ll work it out together.
WHO I CARE FOR
Find the care that fits where you are
Fertility & Preconception
Whether you’re preparing to try, it’s taking longer than you hoped, or you’re going through IVF or IUI, you don’t have to carry it alone. Support after miscarriage or loss is part of this care too, with no rush and no pressure.
Pregnancy
Gentle, pregnancy-adapted care as your baby grows. Acupuncture may help with common discomforts such as back and pelvic pain, nausea and headaches, with time to talk about how you’re really going.
Post Partum
Care for the mother, not just the baby. Whether your baby is six weeks or two years old, I support your physical recovery, broken sleep, hormonal shifts and the mental load nobody warns you about. Babies are always welcome in the treatment room.
Perimenopause
When your body starts changing the rules: cycles that stop making sense, sleep that doesn’t restore you, and a shorter fuse than you’re used to. You don’t have to just push through it.
I take the time to connect the dots and work alongside your GP, including if you’re considering menopausal hormone therapy.
Women's Hormonal Health
For painful, irregular or unpredictable periods, PMS and the week each month you don’t feel like yourself. Your cycle deserves attention, whether or not you’re trying to conceive.
If you’re living with endometriosis or PCOS, I offer complementary support alongside your medical team.
Chronic Pain
For the pain you’ve learned to live with: a neck, jaw or lower back that never quite lets go, or aching joints that weren’t there a few years ago. Acupuncture may help you manage ongoing pain.
We look beyond the sore spot at sleep, stress, hormones and daily load, because pain rarely sits in isolation.
